Mattenhof Resort, Unterseen

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially the retro style of the rooms and the cleanliness throughout the property. The spacious room was perfect for us, and the high water pressure in the shower was a nice bonus. However, it was quite noisy during the festive period due to parties in the lobby that lasted late into the night, which might not suit everyone's taste.

I found the hotel to be a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious with nice views, but noise from neighboring guests was an issue. The overall atmosphere was charming, but the management needs to address cleanliness and maintenance problems. Despite some drawbacks, the garden area is lovely to enjoy, while the service is decent enough for a laid-back stay.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The atmosphere was lovely and had a charming old Swiss vibe, especially with the stunning view of the Jungfrau from our balcony. The reception and bar being open 24/7 was super convenient for our late-night arrival and early coffee cravings. However, I did overhear some noise from the party happening late into the night, which could be a downside for light sleepers.
